In 2022, the Wilmington Police Department will be celebrating our 150th Anniversary! To commemorate this important event, Wilmington police officers will wear a commemorative 150th anniversary patch for the entire year. - The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) has organized its 6th Annual Pumpkin Patch. The Patch is open from noon to 7pm on Tuesdays through Fridays, and 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays through Halloween (while supplies last). There is a large selection and variety of pumpkins and gourds available for sale on the church’s front lawn. Credit cards will be accepted. All proceeds from this popular program will support the Wilmington United Methodist Church and the many missions it supports.
- We’re One Wilmington is excited to team up with the Wilmington High School Girls Soccer program. The girls will enjoy some team bonding while assisting our senior community with fall yard cleanup.
