Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television’s “Book Stew:”
Alli Brydon – editor, author, and October Book Stew guest – grew up in Long Beach, NY (and now lives and works in a London suburb. As a children’s book writer and mother of two young readers, she’s in a good position to evaluate the not-so-subtle differences between “kid lit” in the two countries. She’s also the author of the featured picture book Lobstah Gahden, which features a strong message about ocean pollution dangers via an annual contest between the crustaceans below and the polluters above.
Eileen MacDougall is the host of 95 episodes of Book Stew, a 30-minute video and podcast devoted to writing in all forms, featuring authors, playwrights, voice artists, poets, and journalists.
