WCTV Launches New TV Show For Seniors By Seniors: “Aging In Wilmington: It’s Never Too Late” Premieres On October 1

Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television:

WILMINGTON, MA — Tune in on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2pm for the premiere of a new television program — “Aging in Wilmington: It’s Never Too Late.”

This original program is created by and for Wilmington seniors.

Episode 1 will include “The Senior Scene,” a look at the month ahead detailing events and activities that might be of interest to Wilmington seniors. Be sure to have your pen and paper ready!

Following that will be “Miss Francesca’s Horrible Horoscopes.” What can the stars tell us about our personalities and how we lead our lives? Is Mercury going into retrograde really as bad as folks make it out to be? You will need to tune in to find out.

The show closes out with a segment called “Active Seniors” where the audience will learn about the history of the sport pickleball and how it came to Wilmington.

Current producers are Frances Piccardi, Debra Russo, and Audrey Reed. WCTV is looking for more hosts and contributors to help out behind the scenes and in front of the camera. If you would like to get involved, call WCTV 978-657-4066 and ask for Ryan.

“Aging in Wilmington: It’s Never Too Late” airs on WCTV (Comcast 9/Verizon 37) and online at WCTV.org/live on Fridays at 2pm; Saturdays at 9am; and Tuesdays at 6pm.
