Wilmington Health Department Provides Latest COVID-19 Figures: 96 Active Cases, Vast Majority Of Residents Are Vaccinated

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Health Department recently provided the latest local data regarding COVID-19 infections and vaccinations on its Facebook page.

As of September 7, 2021, Wilmington had 96 active positive COVID-19 cases, 34 of which are “breakthrough” cases. The age breakdown is as follows:

  • 0-11 Years — 18 cases
  • 12-19 Years — 13 cases
  • 20-30 Years — 12 cases
  • 31-50 Years — 25 cases
  • 51-70 Years — 18 cases
  • 75+ Years — 10 cases

As of September 8, 2021, the vast majority of eligible Wilmington residents have been fully vaccinated. The age breakdown is as follows:

  • 12-15 Years — 60% partially vaccinated / 52% fully vaccinated
  • 16-19 Years — 75% partially vaccinated / 70% fully vaccinated
  • 20-29 Years — 68% partially vaccinated / 62% fully vaccinated
  • 30-49 Years — 80% partially vaccinated / 75% fully vaccinated
  • 50-64 Years — 82% partially vaccinated / 78% fully vaccinated
  • 65-74 Years — 92% partially vaccinated / 89% fully vaccinated
  • 75+ Years — 82% partially vaccinated / 76% fully vaccinated
