Wilmington Residents Invited: Tewksbury Community Market Moves To Livingston St. Park On September 2

TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Community Market is relocating to Livingston Street Park (286 Livingston Street), near the playground, for the month of September. The market will be open from 3pm to 7pm on the following Thursdays: September 2, September 9, September 16, September 23, and September 30.

The move to the new location will allow organizers to improve the market in a number of ways, including:

  • Expanding market hours by 1 hour – now open from 3pm to 7pm
  • Increasing the number of weekly vendors from 30 to 40
  • Reintroducing live music, space for community groups, and family activities
  • Enjoying the park’s existing amenities, including playground, pavilion, skate park, courts and fields
  • Tripling the amount of customer parking to 250 spots
  • Making the market more handicap accessible, including locating 10 handicap spaces at the market’s main entrance
  • Providing public restrooms (portapotties) for customers
  • Creating a safer environment for customers – from crosswalks & speedbumps to having multiple market entrances & exists
  • Collaborating with the existing youth & adult sports leagues that play in the nearby fields
  • Becoming a “rain or shine market” – no more rain-outs!

The September 2 market will feature 35+ vendors, including:

  • Birds Nest Italian Street Food (sliders, deep fried manicotti, garlic parmesan french fries, crispy eggplant fries, mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli)
  • Empanada Dada (empanadas)

DESSERT FOOD TRUCKS:

  • Cupcake City (cupcakes)
  • Kona Ice (shaved ice)
  • Shishkaberrys (chocolate covered strawberries)

SWEETS:

  • Drive-By Pies (pies)
  • Fudge ‘n Stuff (fudge, candied nuts, salted & roasted cashews)
  • KRM Chocolates (chocolate truffles, chocolate barks, chocolate dipped cookies)
  • Purple Carrot Bread Co. (breads, pastries)
  • Sweet Lydias (smores, marshmallow, candy bars)

Please note Purple Carrot Bread Co. and Polish Prince Pierogi will be arriving around 4pm. The rest of the vendors are scheduled to be open at 3pm.

Most vendors accept both cash and credit. Pleasant Valley Gardens Farm also accepts WIC, SNAP, EBT and all state and federal farmers market coupons.
