LETTER: Wilmington Selectman Greg Bendel Endorses Judy O’Connell For Selectwoman In September 2 Special Election

Dear Editor:

It is with great enthusiasm that I write this letter in support of Judy O’Connell as our next member of the Wilmington Board of Selectmen. Over the years, I have had the good fortune to work with Judy on a number of important issues in our community. She is a terrific listener and a tireless worker, who is committed to helping make Wilmington a better place to live, work and raise a family.

Having served previously as her colleague on the Board of Selectmen, I have learned a great deal from her, starting with the way she prepares for every meeting she attends, and how she dedicates herself to developing a strong understanding of each of the issues facing our town. In addition, she has proven to be a respectful and positive leader from her prior service on our School Committee, Board of Selectmen, and as the chairman of the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility Committee.

Judy has a proven and impressive record of public service. As a resident, I am grateful that she is willing to step up and volunteer to serve our community yet again. As a selectman, I look forward to working with her to keep Wilmington moving forward in a positive direction. I urge all of you to join me in casting your vote for Judy O’Connell on Thursday, September 2nd.

Thank you,

Greg Bendel
