WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Monday, August 23, 2021:

#1) Attend Wilmington School Committee Meeting on Wildwood Early Childhood Center Investigation 

The Wilmington School Committee meets at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room. Read the agenda HERE. The meeting will be recorded and shared on WCTV and wctv.org.

#2) Attend Wilmington Community Development Technical Review Team Meeting

The Wilmington Community Development Technical Review Team meets at 9:30am in the Town Hall’s Auditorium. Read the agenda HERE.

#3) Watch ‘WCTV LIVE: Cookin The Books’

Watch Library Associate Lisa Crispin as she talks about and demonstrates recipes live on WCTV at 2:30pm. Crispin will feature recipes from the ‘Vegan for Everybody’ cookbook by America’s Test Kitchen. #4) Registration Now Open For WCTV’s 2021-2022 Youth Programs

#5) Wilmington Kiwanis Club Holding $500 Raffle

The Wilmington Kiwanis Club is holding a ‘Grand Raffle’ to support Kiwanis Charities that directly impact the Wilmington community through service projects, scholarships, and children’s programs.

Tickets cost $20 each.  Only 250 will be sold.  The five winners will be drawn on September 13, 2021 or once sold out.  Prizes are as follows:

  • 1st Place: $500
  • 2nd Place: $400
  • 3rd Place: $300
  • 4th Place: $200
  • 5th Place: $100

Raffle tickets are on sale now.  To purchase a raffle ticket, contact a Kiwanis Club member or send it a message on its Facebook page.
