#1) Watch Shawsheen Tech School Committee Meeting
The Shawsheen Tech School Committee meets at 5:30pm in the school’s John P. Miller Conference Room to discuss COVID masking requirements for the fall. Read the agenda HERE. #2) Wilmington Senior Center To Host Free Concert With Ice Cream Sundaes
The Wilmington Senior Center is hosting a free Beatles Tribute Band Concert and giving away ice cream sundaes on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 1pm. Registration is required and begins on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 9:30am. Call the Senior Center at 978-657-7595 or 978-658-2258 to register.
#3) LIBRARY EVENT: Tech Help On Zoom
Technology Librarian Brad McKenna will help you with device issues or answer technology related questions in this one-on-one tech help session at 10am. #4) LIBRARY EVENT: Among Us Teen Game Night
Join your crewmates in a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal over Zoom at 7pm! Download the free Among Us app, and play in a private match hosted by the WML. Grades 6-12. This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent two hours prior to the start of the program to the email given at registration. #5) Wilmington Veterans Department Seeks Photographs
The Wilmington Department of Veterans Services is looking for photographs that depict how the tragic events of September 11, 2001 affected Wilmington residents.
Photographs of the World Trade Center, any ceremonies or dedications relating to 9/11 and especially the construction and dedication of the 9/11 Memorial at the High School.
There will be a ceremony in the High School Auditorium on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10am. The photos will be presented there electronically.
Photos may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or brought to the Veterans’ Office at 141 Shawsheen Avenue so we can scan them into the computer. All photos will be returned.
