Wilmington Department Of Veterans Services Seeks Photographs Depicting How 9/11 Affected Wilmington Residents

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Department of Veterans Services:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Department of Veterans Services is looking for photographs that depict how the tragic events of September 11, 2001 affected Wilmington residents.

Photographs of the World Trade Center, any ceremonies or dedications relating to 9/11 and especially the construction and dedication of the 9/11 Memorial at the High School.

There will be a ceremony in the High School Auditorium on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10am. The photos will be presented there electronically.

Photos may be emailed to veterans@wilmingtonma.gov or brought to the Veterans’ Office at 141 Shawsheen Avenue so we can scan them into the computer.  All photos will be returned.
