POLICE LOG for July 18: Stolen Flowers; Baby Racoon Stuck In Barrel; Fight In Front Of Savers?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 18, 2021:
  • A Dadant Drive caller reported a baby racoon stuck in the lid of a trash barrel. Police responded. Racoon was freed. (6:52am)
  • A caller reported a large branch touching power lines and smoking on Lake Street. Police notified RMLD. (8:58am)
  • A caller reported 6 colonies of flowers were stolen off a Lexington Street property. Caller wanted the incident logged. (1:09pm)
  • A caller reported debris on 93 North — appears to be car parts. (4:04pm)
  • A caller reported people outside of Savers was trying to fight her. Police responded. Appeared to be a misunderstanding. No physical or verbal encounter. (4:57pm)
  • Tractor trailer turned down the wrong street — First Avenue, instead of Waltham Street. Police assisted driver. (10:51pm)
