Wilmington Town Museum Has Re-Opened, Free Tours Available On Thursdays & Fridays, 10am-2pm, This Summer

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Town Museum:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Town Museum, located at 430 Salem Street, has begun its Summer 2021 season.

During the summer, the Museum will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 2pm.

Summer Open House dates will be Sunday, July 11, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm, and Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm. Appointments are welcome.

Call 978-658-5475 or email the Museum at htavern@wilmingtonma.gov to schedule a tour outside of regular hours.

The Wilmington Town Museum at the Col. Joshua Harnden Tavern is owned by the town of Wilmington and is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of the town of Wilmington.

The Museum is housed in an historic 18th century tavern which is an excellent example of quality construction practices of the late 18th century. Exhibits are also on display in the adjacent late 19th century carriage house.
