Rep. Robertson has stated he has received money for bridges and roads. He also mentioned sound barriers in the future.
I agree bridges should be fixed for public safety. I also think sound barriers should come to Wilmington now.
We have been waiting for sound barriers for many years. Barriers from Rte125 to Rte62 on both sides of Rte93 should not be very costly and quickly installed. The sound from Rte93 travels all the way up Salem Rd and it also bounces off the North Intermediate School to bother more residents.
I have been a resident of Wilmington for 56 years and live next to Rte93 and I have paid my taxes in this State for 56 years.
I am sure the sound from Rte93 at certain times would not pass EPA requirements.
