WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Wednesday, June 30, 2021:
#1) Wilmington Food Services To Distribute FREE Bagged Breakfasts & Lunches Outside WHS
Wilmington Food Services will continue to put forward best efforts to feed our students during this time and will be preparing bagged breakfasts and lunches out of our kitchen at Wilmington High School beginning Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
These meals will be available for any students, regardless of which school you attend in the District or not in district, and will be prepared in our safe and sanitary environment by Wilmington staff.
You may pick up all breakfast and lunches outside the Events Entrance at WHS (off of Adams Street) every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. We ask you pull your vehicle up to the curb, pop your car trunk or hatch and we will gladly place the meals inside your vehicle.
This is available to all children 21 and younger, living in Wilmington or in another community.

#2) DEADLINE: Register For Public Health Museum’s Summer Camp
The Public Health Museum in Massachusetts has opened registration for Outbreak!2021 : A Student Public Health Experience. Celebrating its ninth year, Outbreak!2021 is designed for students in grades 10-12 interested in careers in public health. Presented by public health professionals from the greater Boston area and university instructors, the program’s online format is available to students nationwide.
The program runs from August 2-13, 2021. Thanks to a generous grant from the National Library of Medicine, OUTBREAK! 2021 is free of charge. Sessions introduce students to the history of public health and provide networking with area practitioners. Topics include Health Equity, Ethics, Occupational Health, Infectious Diseases, Mental Health and Emergency Preparedness.
Applications are available on line from publichealthmuseum.org or by emailing the museum at firstname.lastname@example.org. The last day to register is June 30, 2021.

The Public Health Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural institution dedicated to public health history. The museum is located on the campus of Tewksbury Hospital in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
#3) Book Store Next Door Is Open
The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All proceeds benefit the Library.
#4) Indivisible Billerica-Tewksbury-Wilmington To Hold PRIDE Rally On Tewksbury Town Common
Indivisible Billerica-Tewksbury-Wilmington and the Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee are holding a PRIDE Rally on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 7pm at the Tewksbury Town Common (1009 Main Street). Open to Wilmington residents looking to support the local LGBTQ community. Join the Facebook event HERE.
#5) Town Looking To Fill Finance Committee Vacancies
The Town of Wilmington is accepting applications from interested individuals who would like to volunteer their services as a member of the Finance Committee.
