POLICE LOG for June 9: Middle School Kids Causing Ongoing Problems At Starbucks; Distressed Swimmer At Silver Lake

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, June 9, 2021:
  • Animal Control Officer responded to assist ducks cross roadway at Aldrich Road and Bailey Road. (9:58am)
  • Fire Department responded to a fire on Cardinal Court. Fire originated from mattress behind house. (11:48am)
  • Starbucks store manager reported that a group of middle-school aged children are walking through the drive-thru and harassing customers everyday at approximately 2:30pm. Requested extra patrols. (6:25pm)
  • Police and fire responded to report of a swimmer in distress at Silver Lake. Swimmer was wearing a life jacket and above water. Swimmer made it out of the water and was evaluated by the Fire Department. (6:29pm)
  • State Police handled crash on 93 North, near Exit 34. One vehicle wound up in the median and another in the breakdown lane. (10:14pm)
