POLICE LOG for May 24: Kids On Train Tracks; Kitchen Fire; Brush Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 24, 2021:
  • Police notified DPW that the street sign for Water Street was missing. (7:58am)
  • A caller reported his son lost a catcher’s mitt at the baseball field at the high school. (2:44pm)
  • Dunkin’ customers reported 6-8 youths were on the train tracks taking pictures. Youths were gone by the time police arrived. (4:18pm)
  • A train gate was broken at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. Police notified Keolis. (5:56pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run. (6:50pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire on Kilby Street. (7:11pm)
  • State Police and Wilmington Police responded to report of a brush fire on 93 South. (7:53pm)
