POLICE LOG for May 19: Billerica Man Arrested; Medical Response Delayed Due To Train Blocking Intersection; Lawn Signs Removed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, May 19, 2021:
  • Police removed lawn signs from Triton Staffing Group along Route 62, Salem Street and Middlesex Avenue. Company will be contacted and town bylaws will be explained. (1:58am)
  • Police notified Water Department of a water main break in front of 1 Main Street. (4:31am)
  • Nicholas J. Coates (26, Billerica) was arrested on a warrant. (5:19am)
  • Police notified DPW that fire hydrant at Aldrich Road and Forest Street is leaking. (6:25am)
  • Police and Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Ridge Road. (10:34am)
  • A caller reported an oversized load fell off the back of a truck and was partially blocking the roadway on Ballardvale Street. State Police truck team responded. (11:48am)
  • Fire and Police were delayed on a medical call due to the train blocking the intersection at North Wilmington station. (7:26pm)
