WCTV NEWS & NOTES: Wilmington Middle School Play (“Help Desk”) To Air May 14 & 15; Studio Looking For Volunteers To Record Community Events

Below is an announcement from from Wilmington Community Television:

WCTV Seeking VOLUNTEERS!

We need your help to capture the events that matter to Wilmington! Wilmington Community Television covers a wide array of community activities including Town Meetings, Sports, Concerts, Parades, Local Groups & Activities, Wilmington Schools & MORE. We provide the training (Trust me, it’s not that hard) and you can be operating a camera in no time at all. To do all this, we need your help!

Not interested in being a videographer? There are lots of ways to get involved. Become a producer, learn audio design, host an interview segment, or even help broadcast a meeting from home! There are opportunities for the whole family to learn about video production.

Some upcoming events WCTV aims to broadcast include:

5/13 Celebration of Life Candlelight Vigil

5/14 A Capella Concert by Ball in the House

5/18 WHS Baseball vs. Melrose

5/18 Wilmington Schools Strings Concert

5/20 Live Concert presented by Wilmington Library

5/20 WHS Jazz Concert

5/21 Book Stew studio taping

This is just a sample of the types of events we strive to broadcast at WCTV, but we can only do it with the support of our neighborhood volunteers.  For more information email Ryan@WCTV.org today!
