STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Wilmington’s Britney Mallebranche To Perform In Bridgewater State’s “Constellations” Online, April 23-May 1

BRIDGEWATER, MA — Bridgewater State University’s Department of Theater presents Constellations, Nick Payne’s cosmic love story set across multiple universes, this April. Performances are exclusively online April 23rd through May 1st. Tickets for this production are available at BSUtix.com.

Director Alex Jacobs calls the play “deeply emotional [with] a cathartic joy coming from seeing beautifully truthful moments emerge from the material.” Constellations is the love story of Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, an astronomer, playing out across multiple universes and exploring the infinite possibilities of relationships with a diverse cast of actors playing both roles. Constellations is a play about free will and friendship; it’s also a play about quantum multiverse theory, love, and honey.

The talented artists creating this piece will safely stream the performance from all parts of the region. The cast includes actors Allison Oriani (Brockton, MA), Erika Fay Greenwood (Cranston, RI), Madison Bradbury (East Bridgwater, MA), Rob Gullicksen (Hanson, MA), Emily O’Donnell & Jay Froio (Hull, MA), Georgia Johnson (Lakeville, MA), Ryan Boudreau (New Bedford, MA), Deeyanna Duffie (Taunton, MA), Viola Patch (Wakefield, MA), Britney Mallebranche (Wilmington, MA), Aya Khoury (Worcester, MA). Director Alex Jacobs (Melrose, MA), stage manager Destiny Hyman (West Haven, CT), technical director Angela Harrington & scenic designer Will Sexton (Kingston, MA), costume designer Karly Foster (Taunton, MA), and dramaturg Kyle Imbeau (Fairhaven, MA) lend their talents behind the scenes.
