VIDEO: Jonathan Eaton Discusses His Time On The Board Of Selectmen & His Transition To Town Moderator

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Selectman Greg Bendel recently interviewed outgoing Selectman Jonathan Eaton about this time on the board as part of WCTV’s “Exit Interviews” series.

After serving one 3-year term, Selectman Eaton decided not to seek re-election due to family commitments, and instead opted to run unopposed for the open Town Moderator position.

In the interview, Eaton discusses the most rewarding part of serving as Selectman, the biggest challenge he faced (hint: COVID-19), his transition from Selectmen to Town Moderator, and why he ended each Selectmen meeting with a “Salute To Service” honoring a Wilmington veteran.
