WILMINGTON, MA — Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Department of Public Works:
WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Department of Public Works will begin grinding and paving Middlesex Ave, from Federal Street to Shady Lane Drive, starting Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
During milling and paving operations, Middlesex Ave will be closed in the eastbound direction at Federal Street. Traffic will be detoured using Federal Street to Woburn Street to High Street. Local residents will have access to their properties using the detour, although there may be short delays. The closure will only be in effect during construction operations.
This detour may be slightly altered to accommodate construction operations.
Please obey the directives of police details, detour signs, and warning signs during all construction operations.
