WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Wednesday, March 24, 2021:

#1) Wilmington Food Services Providing Free Meals To Children — Curbside Pick-Up In High School Parking Lot

Wilmington Public Schools Food Services will be distributing free meals (7 breakfasts & 7 lunches) for children 2-21 from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the High School Parking Lot.

#2) Watch Wilmington School Committee Meeting

The Wilmington School Committee meets at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room. Read the agenda HERE. Watch the meeting live on WCTV and wctv.org.

Also, the Wilmington School Committee’s Policy Subcommittee meets at 6pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room. Read the agenda HERE.

#3) Attend Wilmington Community Television’s Annual Meeting

Tune in to WCTV’s virtual Annual meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 6pm. During the meeting you’ll hear all about what WCTV has been doing this past year to bring you the programs you know and love as well as new projects that will be coming up and more. You’ll also hear from WCTV  Board President, Steve Sabounjian as well as Executive Director, Ryan Malyar about the future of WCTV and what’s next for the studio. View on Verizon 37 and Comcast 9.

#4) LIBRARY EVENT: Social Justice Book Group Meeting

The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a meeting of its Social Justice Book Group via Zoom at 7pm. This group, which will meet the fourth Wednesday of the month, continues the work started with the library’s antiracism series (https://wilmlibrary.org/antiracism-resources/). Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. Copies of the book will be available at the library’s main desk. You may pick up a copy during open hours or curbside hours. This month, the group is reading Chapters 9-12 of Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X Kendi. Register HERE.

#5) LIBRARY EVENT: Time For Twos

The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a virtual ‘Time For Twos’ at 10am. This storytime for two year olds includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees at least one hour before the event. Register HERE.
