WCTV To Offer Summer Youth Program, Registration Now Open

Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television:

WILMINGTON, MA — We are excited to announce that throughout the summer your child will have the opportunity to learn about Video Production by participating in one of our THEMED week-long programs.

These exciting introductions to Video Production offer hands-on fun while participants learn how to operate a camera, write a script and edit their masterpiece!

Themes include Gameshows, Green Screen Adventures, and Food Preparation and Crafting Shows. For Youth looking to show off their talents, there is also a week for Acting for Film and Television. The Acting workshop does not include training in video skills but the participants will be filmed throughout the week as they act out scenes, monologues, and improvisations.

Returning students who have participated in WCTV’s summer, weekend, or after-school programs are eligible to attend a special Two-Week Program where they can take the creative reigns in creating their own short films and video projects.

All Summer Programs are limited to 8 participants per session, so don’t delay! They will fill up fast. Your space in the class is not guaranteed until we receive payment in full.
