BOSTON, MA — Mass Cultural Council has a grant opportunity available right now – the COVID-19 Relief Fund for Individuals, which provides $1,500 to artists who have lost personal income due to COVID cancellations and closures. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Feb. 2.

We have funding to award at least 430 $1,500 grants. Grants will be distributed via a lottery-style, random selection process. To ensure geographic diversity, grants will be awarded by region in proportion to the region’s application demand.

The regions are as follows:

  • Greater Boston

  • Metrowest
  • Northeast
