Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:
WILMINGTON, MA — Let’s write some code!
In this class designed for computer programming beginners, we will use the Scratch programming language to create interactive stories, animations and even custom computer games. Our new coders will develop logical thinking skills and an understanding of how computers work. At the end of the class, students can continue developing their programs in the online Scratch community. No previous programming experience is necessary!
This program is open to kids in Grades 3 – 5 and will run on Mondays, starting January 25 – March 22 (no 2/15) from 4 – 5:30 p.m. All classes will be held virtually on Zoom, cost is $150 per participant.
To register, please visit our website https://www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation and log into your account. You can also call the Rec. Office at 978-658-4270 to register, or if you have any questions, we would be glad to help! We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
