#1) Library Event: How To Play Chess
The Wilmington Memorial Lirary is hosting “How To Play Chess” at 7pm via Zoom. This class teaches you the fundamentals of chess as a strategy game. In one hour you will learn the basics including: setting up the chess men, using pawns, how to move the pieces, ten tips for playing a better game, and how to win in four moves. Ages 8 to adult. #2) Library Event: Kindergarten Book Club
Calling all kindergarteners! Join us for a virtual book club at 4pm for kindergarteners who miss storytime or those who love to be read to. We will read, talk about a few books and do a virtual activity. Register HERE.
#3) Library Event: Preschool Storytime
This storytime for preschoolers includes books, rhymes, and music. Ages 3-5. Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees at least one hour before the event. Register HERE.
#4) Library Event: Tech Help
Technology Librarian Brad McKenna will help you with device issues or answer technology related questions in this one-on-one tech help session at 1pm. Register HERE.
#5) Wilmington Public Schools Caregiver Support Night
Wilmington Public Schools presents “A Caregiver’s Guide to Remote Learning: Balancing School, Work and Life At Home” at 7pm. Led by Sherre Emmons, M.Ed & Moderate Disabilities, WPS North Intermediate StAGES Program Teacher.
