WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Tuesday, December 29, 2020:

#1) LIBRARY EVENT: All You Can Read Buffet

The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding an All You Can Read Buffet for Children in Grades 3-8  via Zoom from 1pm to 3pm. Our popular school vacation week event is going virtual!  Even though we can’t be together in person, we can still read together over Zoom.  We will read, take breaks, and eat!  Registrants can pick up their snacks in advance.   Everyone who reads for the full 2 hours will get a coupon for a free book! Register HERE.

#2) LIBRARY EVENT: Teen Advisory Board with Glitter Jars

The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a Teen Advisory Board Meeting via Zoom at 7pm.This is your chance to tell us what library programs you want to attend and what books, movies, and games we should have available for checkout in the Teen Zone. You’ll earn one hour of community service for your time and input into making the library a more teen-centered place! We’ll also make calming glitter jars, and you’ll get more treats and activities for the vacation week to take home in your T.A.B. kit. Register to reserve your take-home T.A.B. kit to pick up via curbside the week of the program, and then join Brittany for T.A.B. on Zoom! (Call or text the number on the sign outside of the WML’s parking lot entrance when you arrive to pick up your T.A.B. kit. Curbside service is available to pick up your kit beginning the Saturday before T.A.B. will take place until the Thursday afternoon before the Zoom session. Curbside is available: Monday-Saturday, 10 am-4 pm. The first floor of the WML is open without an appointment Monday-Thursday, 10 am-6 pm & Friday from 10 am-4 pm.) This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent two hours prior to the start of the program to the email given at registration. #3) Purchase A Wilmington Coloring Book

Local artist Nikki Tetreault recently created a coloring book featuring scenes and landmarks from around Wilmington.

These “Welcome To Wilmington” coloring books cost $12 each, 2 for $20, or 3 for $25. Orders of 10+ for community groups will see an additional bulk rate discount.

#4) Purchase A Pizza Kit From Tremezzo To Benefit The May School

Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street, Wilmington) is selling pizza kits to benefit The May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington.

Kits — which include 2 small dough balls, 3 toppings, sauce, and cheese — cost $20. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the school.

#5) Complete The Online RMLD Customer Satisfaction Survey

The Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) hired GreatBlue Research to conduct a customer satisfaction survey via phone and online to seek input in the areas of service reliability, rates, customer service, energy efficiency programs, power supply, and more. The phone portion of the survey is complete, and the online survey link is now available.

Customers with an email address on record who did not complete the survey by phone will receive an email from GreatBlue Research with a link to the survey.GreatBlue will also send reminder emails periodically to ensure everyone who wishes to complete the survey has the opportunity to do so.

The survey link is also available at www.rmld.com for customers who do not have an email address on file with the RMLD.

Customers have until January 11, 2021 to complete the survey.
