#3) Purchase Wilmington’s 2020 Holiday Ornament
A Wilmington tradition continues! For the 22nd consecutive year, the Wilmington Community Fund is selling a commemorative holiday ornament.
The 2020 ornament — a snowflake — costs $10 and is available at Designs By Don (380 Main Street), Flaherty’s Jeweler inside Wilmington Plaza (240 Main Street) and at the Recreation Department Office at Town Hall (121 Glen Road).
All proceeds will benefit the Wilmington Community Fund. The Fund has three major goals: (1) provide direct relief to Wilmington families, individuals, the elderly and children; (2) provide basic needs — heat, light, utilities, emergency assistance and medical relief; and (3) provide food products on a bimonthly basis to those in need.
#4) Purchase Wilmington Holiday Greeting Cards To Support WCTV
Wilmington Community Television (WCTV) is holding a Wilmington Winter Wonderland Greeting Card Fundraiser.
Purchase a set of 5 cards created by local artists that depict Wilmington as a winter wonderland for $15. (10 cards cost $25 and 15 cards cost $32.) Cards can be pre-ordered online HERE and/or purchased in-person at WCTV studios (10 Waltham Street) via cash or check.
Participating local artists include Wilmington residents/natives Don Leard, Niki Jamieson, Kenneth Ward, and Jamie Boudreau, along with Ashley Nicole Martin.
All proceeds will benefit WCTV, which serves the Wilmington community throughout the year by providing video coverage of all things Wilmington.
