#3) Library Event: Family Gingerbread Houses
It’s a tradition at the WML to ring in the holidays by making Gingerbread Houses. We will be doing it a bit differently this year, but kids will still have an opportunity to construct an edible masterpiece! We will provide the materials in advance and registrants will build houses together on Zoom at 4pm. Registrants can pick up their supplies from December 11-December 15 during curbside hours (Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm ) or inside the library (Monday – Thursday 10am – 6pm; Friday 10am – 4pm). We will provide graham crackers, frosting, and candy to decorate. You will provide something for a base such as clean school milk cartons or a small box. Build the Gingerbread house on Zoom and then show off your creation to other participants. Note: if the kit is not picked up by 6 pm on December 15, it will be forfeited and given to the next patron in line on the waiting list. Register HERE.
#4) Library Event: Current Events Discussion Group
The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a meeting of its monthly Current Events Discussion Group on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 7pm. The topic for December is the pandemic. All are encouraged to read, listen, and watch in order to become more informed about the topic and be ready to discuss with others. Led by facilitator Dan Hall. Register HERE.
