#1) CANCELLED: Meet Pro Wrestlers At “Toys For Tots” Drive In Wilmington On December 5
Due to COVID-19 and the forecast, the Lucky Pro Wrestling “Toys For Tots” Drive at West Real Estate scheduled for today has been cancelled.
#2) CANCELLED: Winter Cemetery Stroll
The Wilmington Memorial Library’s Winter Cemetery Stroll led by Town Curator Terry McDermott has been CANCELLED due to the forecast.
#3) Town Yardwaste Center Is Open
The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, will be open today from 9am to 4pm. Wilmington residents only may use the center to drop off leaves and brush. In order to use the facility, residents must purchase a $15 punch card at the Treasurer/Collector’s Office at Town Hall. The card has no expiration date and is good for 5 visits to the facility. Residents will be asked to show the punch card an an ID at the entrance to the facility. No grass clippings may be disposed at the recycling center due to the odors they create. Stumps will not be accepted. No contractors or commercial vehicles are allowed. #4) Wilmington Boy Scouts Selling Christmas Trees
Boy Scout Troop 56 of Wilmington is selling Christmas trees in the Colonial Plaza (35 Lowell Street) on the weekends from 10am to 8pm and on the weekdays from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
#5) Wilmington Methodist Church Selling Christmas Trees
Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is selling Christmas trees this holiday season as follows: Thursdays & Fridays: 4pm to 8pm, Saturdays: 10am to 8pm, Sundays: 10am to 6pm. Proceeds will allow the church’s Outreach Committee to support many causes.
