Seasonal Pies with Liz Barbour
Monday, November 23, 7 pm
A delicious holiday pie is one pie crust and one filling away. In this class Liz Barbour of The Creative Feast will share her favorite pie dough recipe so students can recreate the perfect, flaky crust every time they bake a pie. Liz will share information about her favorite pie baking tools, ingredients, and preparation methods. She will then teach the class how to prepare two delicious, photo worthy seasonal pies.
Creative Writing Group
Tuesday, November 24, 7 pm
Learn and apply creative writing tips, tools, and techniques shared by published authors and other writing experts. Open to all who want to improve their creative writing skills and get their work published. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras. Among Us Teen Game Night
Monday, November 23 at 7:00pm
Join your crewmates in a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal over Zoom! Download the free Among Us app, and play in a private match hosted by the WML. Grades 6-12.
Tuesday, November 24 at 10 am
This storytime for preschoolers includes books, rhymes, and music. Ages 3-5.
The library will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for Thanksgiving.
The latest on library services
You are able to visit the WML without an appointment to browse the first floor, pick up holds, use a computer with a 60 minute limit, and make a copy or use the fax machine. The library is open for these services Monday – Thursday 10am – 6pm and Friday 10am – 4pm. Curbside pickup is still available with new hours: Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm. Appointments are still required to visit the Youth Services Department. All patrons must wear a mask and sanitize their hands upon arriving at the library.
