WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Thursday, October 22, 2020:

#1) In-Person Early Voting At Town Hall

All early in-person voting for all precincts for the 2020 Presidential Election will be conducted in the Town Hall Auditorium (121 Glen Road).

The schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, October 17, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Sunday, October 18, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Monday, October 19, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Tuesday, October 20, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Wednesday, October 21, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Thursday, October 22, 2020: 9am to 6pm
  • Friday, October 23, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Saturday, October 24, 2020: 2pm to 6pm
  • Sunday, October 25, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Monday, October 26, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Tuesday, October 27, 2020: 9am to 6pm
  • Wednesday, October 28, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Thursday, October 29, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Friday, October 30, 2020: 9am to 4pm

#2) Library Event: Baby Times AT Yentile Farm

This 10am program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers.  The program is scheduled to be held at Yentile Farm.  If the weather is too cold or inclement, we will notify registrants that it will offered virtually instead and send a Zoom link. Masks are required for outdoor programs for anyone over the age of 2. Birth-24 months. Register HERE.

#3) Library Event: Outdoor Preschool Storytime At Yentile Farm

Join us for an outdoor, socially distanced storytime at Yentile Farm , featuring  books, rhymes and songs at 10:30am.  Masks are required for anyone over the age of 2. Ages 2-5. Register HERE.

#4) Library Event: Environmental Racism In Massachusetts

Massachusetts has a reputation for progressive environmental policies, but these policies do not benefit all communities equally. At 7pm, Dr. Daniel Faber will discuss the disproportionate impact of environmental burdens such as chemical pollution and hazardous waste sites on communities of color in the state. Register HERE.

#5) WHS Golf Team In Action

The WHS Boys Golf Team battles Melrose at 3:30pm at Lynn Fells Parkway in Melrose.
