WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Sunday, October 18, 2020:

#1) Middlesex Canal Association’s Fall Walk In Wilmington

The Middlesex Canal Association will sponsor a canal walk on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1:30pm. Participants are to meet at the kiosk in Wilmington (35 Towpath Drive). The walk will go through the 14-acre tract gifted to the Association by Stanley Webber and his daughter, Julia Ann Fielding, and finally Patches Pond.

#2) Meet Republican Senate Candidate, Congressional Candidate & State Rep Candidate

The Wilmington Republican Town Committee has organized a ‘Meet The Candidates’ event on Sunday, October 18, 2020, from 11am to 1pm, on the Wilmington Town Common. Alec DiFruscia (State Rep), John Paul Moran (US Congress), and Kevin O’Connor (US Senate) will be on hand to take questions and talk about the issues important to you.

#3) In-Person Early Voting At Town Hall

All early in-person voting for all precincts for the upcoming Presidential Election will be conducted in the Town Hall Auditorium (121 Glen Road).

  • Saturday, October 17, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Sunday, October 18, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Monday, October 19, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Tuesday, October 20, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Wednesday, October 21, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Thursday, October 22, 2020: 9am to 6pm
  • Friday, October 23, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Saturday, October 24, 2020: 2pm to 6pm
  • Sunday, October 25, 2020: 9am to 1pm
  • Monday, October 26, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Tuesday, October 27, 2020: 9am to 6pm
  • Wednesday, October 28, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Thursday, October 29, 2020: 9am to 4pm
  • Friday, October 30, 2020: 9am to 4pm

#4) Pumpkin Patch At Wilmington United Methodist Church

The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) has organized its 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch. The Patch will be open from noon to 7pm during the week and 9am to 7pm on the weekends through Halloween (while supplies last). There is a large selection and variety of pumpkins and gourds available for sale daily on the church’s front lawn. Credit cards will be accepted.

#5) Yard Sale On Mass Avenue

A yard sale will take place at 7 Mass Avenue from 10am to 4pm. A sample of the items being sold are: Baby items, collectibles, Children’s clothes (girls and boys, newborn to 5T), Legos, stuffed animals, Nerf guns, various toys, Housewares, wine and margarita glasses, cookbooks, DVDs, Books, Games, Outdoor items, brand new smoker.
