STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Wilmington’s Kyra Walsh Joins Lasell University’s Blue Key Society

Below is an announcement from Lasell University via Merit:

NEWTON, MA — Kyra Walsh, a resident of Wilmington, is a member of the Lasell University Blue Key Society (BKS). Walsh, an Event Management major at Lasell, serves as a liaison between the Lasell University community and prospective students and families. BKS ambassadors are, according to Senior Assistant Director of Admission Emily Stanley, the face of the institution.

BKS ambassadors lead campus tours, welcome visitors to campus, and participate in admissions events such as open houses, accepted student events, and more. They are often the first line of communication with prospective students, making them a critical asset to the University’s admission efforts. Ambassadors participate in professional development trainings, receive performance evaluations, and develop their leadership skills throughout their time in BKS.

Potential BKS ambassadors are nominated by members of the Lasell community and go through a competitive application process before being selected.

“We like to think we have the best of the best on our team!” said Stanley.
