POLICE LOG for October 8: Neighbor Issued Summons For Larceny; Road Rage Incident With Bicyclist; Flower Holder Taken From Grave

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 8, 2020:
  • A Morse Avenue caller reported his girlfriend witnessed someone going through their trash at 5:30am. (8:26am)
  • Animal Control Officer responded to report of injured hawk at North Intermediate School. (10:36am)
  • A caller reported a small cone shaped flower holder that was left at her brother’s grave plaque in the Veteran’s section at Wildwood Cemetery was removed. (11:15am)
  • A caller reported individuals in the woods by Benji Way. Police responded. No alcohol in bags. Checked OK and sent on their way. Took large bag of trash with them. (3:54pm)
  • A caller reported bench and picnic table at Rotary Park were splintering. (5:17pm)
  • David M. Doucette (65, Wilmington) was issued a summons for larceny under $1200. Neighbor reported seeing Doucette on her property via her Ring doorbell cam. (5:20pm)
  • A caller reported she beeped at bicyclist. When she stopped at traffic light in front of school, bicyclist pulled up next to her, punched her window, and exchanged words. (5:33pm)
