Selectmen To Temporarily Start Meeting At High School, Make Changes To How Public Comments Will Work At Their Meetings

Below is an announcement from the Town Manager’s Office:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen’s meeting will be held in the Large Group Instruction Room at the High School on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

Starting with this meeting, public comments are being moved on the agenda to appear prior to appointments.

Also starting with this upcoming meeting, individuals interested in offering public comments may offer their comments in person or remotely.

Those seeking to comment in person may do so by entering the side entrance of the high school closest to the Roman House at 7pm and remain in the hallway by the Large Group Instruction Room.  In keeping with COVID-19 protocols, individuals will be invited into the meeting room one at a time to offer comment.  Once the individual has offered their comments, they will be expected to leave the meeting room.

In the alternative, individuals seeking to offer comment remotely may continue to call the telephone number posted on the meeting agenda as has been the practice since the meetings started being conducted via Zoom.
