#1) President George Washington To Address Wilmington
Meet President George Washington as portrayed by John Koopman III, in this 45 minute lecture at 7pm. Learn what caused the colonists to found a new country and why the Revolution drove Washington to the Constitutional Convention. The President will also comment on the Constitution and its aftermath, and on tests to the new nation including avoiding war with France. George Washington, the father of our country, soldier statesman, first in war, first in peace, had a unique perspective on the founding of our nation—don’t miss it. #2) Library Event: Baby Time
The Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting a virtual baby time at 10am. This program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers. Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees at least one hour before the event. Register HERE.
#3) Library Event: Among Us Teen Game Night
At 7pm, join your crewmates in a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal over Zoom! Download the free Among Us app, and play in a private match hosted by the WML. Grades 6-12. This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent two hours prior to the start of the program to the email given at registration.
