WILMINGTON, MA — Helen B. (Benner) Tadgell, age 93, of Wilmington, passed away on September 3rd, 2020. Helen enjoyed her time being at home reading, painting, cooking, baking, and gardening. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting historic destinations, but was always glad to return home to New England, her favorite place.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Tadgell. She was the loving mother of Heather Tadgell Rollo & her partner Bruce Rossi of Wilmington, MA and Robert Tadgell, Jr. & his partner Richard Pumfrey of Holderness, NH and Key West, FL. Dear “Nana” of Lindsay & Cameron Anderson of Vermontville, NY and Allison & Christopher McCarthy of Middleboro, MA. Helen was the cherished daughter of Herbert and Jean (Bell) Benner. She is also predeceased by several in-laws and is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
All funeral services will be held privately.
Memorial donations in Helen’s name can be made to the Friends of the Wilmington Library, 175 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA 01887, or St. Jude’s Hospital.
