WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Republican Town Committee has organized a standout to support first responders on Friday, September 11, 2020, from 5pm to 6pm, at the Wilmington Town Common.
The event, which is intended to be non-political, is an opportunity for residents to show support for first responders on the anniversary of 9/11, when 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 9 EMTs were killed.
Attendees are encouraged to bring police, fire and EMS flags and homemade or store-bought signs. Children are welcome. All participants are asked to wear a mask.
