WCTV Live: Further On Up the Road – History of the Blues Guitar

Library on the Lawn
Tuesdays 10 am – 12 pm and Thursdays 5 pm – 7 pm
Would you like to browse and checkout books and DVDs? Be sure to stop by the front of the library to peruse carts of adult, teen, and children’s materials. Masks are required and we ask all to respect social distancing. This event will not take place during inclement weather.
Read Aloud Book Club Books for a Better World

Do you miss reading and listening to stories with your friends at the library? Then this read-aloud book club is for you! Sit back and relax as Barbara reads you lots of different books about lots of different kids on Zoom. Grades 1-5.
Zen Gardens Crafternoon
Thursday, September 17 at 3:30 pm
Register to reserve your take-home kit to pick up via curbside the week of the session, and join Brittany for a Zoom tutorial on day of the program. Using sand, an air plant, and river rocks, create a zen garden you’ll find relaxing to landscape (with a tiny bamboo rake). Technology Librarian Brad will share some meditation techniques sure to center you, too! Grades 4-12.
Online LEGO Club
Thursday, September 17 at 4 pm
Build LEGOs (or whatever building materials you have at your house) at the same time as other LEGO fans online. At the end, you can share what you made during the time, and show one other item that you may have already built at home. Ages 5+.
Tuesdays at 10 am
This storytime for preschoolers includes books, rhymes, and music. Ages 3-5.
Time for Twos
Wednesdays at 10am
This storytime for two year olds includes books, rhymes, music and movement.
Thursdays at 10 am
This program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers.
Friends of the Library
Book Store Next Door Outside Sale
Saturday, September 12 from 10am to 2pm
The Friends of the Library Book Store Next Door will be open Saturday, September 12 for an outside sale from 10 am to 2 pm. Rain date is Wednesday September 16. One bag or one box of donations will be accepted during the sale hours. All proceeds benefit WML.
Library Open by Appointment
Patrons may make an appointment for a 50 minute session to browse on the first floor, use the copier/ FAX machine, or visit the Youth Services Department. Reservations may be made online or by calling the library at 978-658-2967. Per the Governor’s directive, all patrons over the age of two are required to wear masks while in the library. Patrons will also be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the library. Patrons can also continue to utilize curbside service Monday through Thursday 10 am to 7 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4pm.
