CANCELLED: Town Shredding Day On September 19 Is CANCELLED Due To COVID-19

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Community Fund has announced it has cancelled its Annual Shredding Day, which had been set for Saturday, September 19, 2020, from 9am to noon, in the Wilmington Town Common’s parking lot.

The event’s shredding company — Hightower Shredding — has cancelled due to COVID-19.

The Wilmington Community Fund, which runs the Wilmington Food Pantry, had been encouraging participants to bring nonperishable food items or donations to the event. With the event’s cancellation, please consider making a donation to the pantry by utilizing the donation bins at Market Basket and Lucci’s. Monetary donations can be made by mailing a check to the Wilmington Community Fund, PO Box 147, Wilmington, MA 01887.
