WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 3 things to know in Wilmington on Saturday, August 22, 2020:
#1) Early In-Person Voting For September 1 State Primary Election Begins Today
The Office of Town Clerk has established its In-Person Early Voting Hours for the September 1, 2020 Primary.
All Early Voting sessions will be conducted in the Auditorium at Wilmington Town Hall (121 Glen Road).
- Saturday, August 22, 2020: 2pm to 6pm
- Sunday, August 23, 2020: 8am to noon
- Monday, August 24, 2020 to Friday, August 28, 2020: 8:30am to 4:30pm
In-person voting will take place during the State Primary on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 7am to 8pm.
Polling locations remain as they’ve been:
- Precincts 1 and 2 at Boutwell School (17 Boutwell Street)
- Precincts 3 and 4 at Wildwood School (182 Wildwood Street)
- Precincts 5 and 6 at Town Hall (121 Glen Road)
#2) Today Is Last Day To Register To Vote Or Change Party For September 1 State Primary Election
The last day to register to vote or make any changes to your voter registration for the September 1, 2020 State Primary is Saturday, August 22, 2020.
In person registration sessions will be held at Town Hall (121 Glen Road) from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.

As the September 1, 2020 Primary approaches, it’s a good idea to make sure you are registered to vote, that your address is current, that your party enrollment is what you wish it to be.

#3) Request A Free Mosquito Spraying From Central Mass. Mosquito Control Project
Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Wilmington to respond to residents’ concerns about mosquitoes in their area on August 5, August 6, August 12, August 13, August 19, August 20, August 26, and August 27. Dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations, mosquito virus activity and/or special event spraying.
Requests for service may be recorded by calling the CMMCP office at 508-393-3055 between 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, or visiting www.cmmcp.org and clicking on “Service Request.” Results of these requests may initiate an application of mosquito insecticides to defined, site-specific areas of town. Such an application may be accomplished by using hand or truck mounted equipment, depending on the extent of the application.
