POLICE LOG for August 5: Wilmington Motorcycle Driver Issued Summons; Unemployment Fraud; Truck Takes Down Wires

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, August 5, 2020:
  • A Woburn Street caller reported someone may have been in their house earlier today and stole a screwdriver. (12:30am)
  • A Fernbank Road caller reported unemployment benefits fraud. (9:48am)
  • Matthew Hersom (20, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle In Violation Of License Class and Speeding. Hersom was pulled over on a motorcycle on Shawsheen Avenue. (10:59am)
  • A caller reported a box truck took down cable wires on Brand Avenue. (4:42pm)
