WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington couple, with assistance from the Wilmington Republican Town Committee, is organizing a “Support Our POTUS & POLICE” Rally on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2pm on the Wilmington Town Common.
“The time has come to take a stand,” reads the announcement. “Come out and show your support for our President and our brave law enforcement both local and across the country. Show them they are not alone.”
Organizers are asking participants to bring signs and reminding them to wear face coverings per the order of the Governor.
“We are the silent majority, but now is not the time to be silent,” said organizers Jenna and Nick. “It’s time to publicly back the blue and Trump too!”
