POLICE LOG for July 24: Street Sign Stolen; Late Night Congregating In Student Parking Lot; Laptop Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, July 24, 2020:
  • Police noted street sign on Foley Farm Road has been taken and needs to be replaced. (9:00am)
  • A caller reported his wife was attacked by a dog while on a walk this morning. Animal Control Officer responded and spoke with all parties. Wife may have tripped and fell due to dog parking at her. She declined medical attention. (9:44am)
  • A baby bird fell out of its nest on Woburn Street. Animal Control Officer made a makeshift nest and placed the bird in it. (12:00pm)
  • A motorcycle was involved in a crash on Main street. No injuries noted. (12:39pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported three juveniles were skateboarding and leaving trash in the area. Police responded. Juveniles had left and no trash was located. Police did find an Apple laptop, which is brought back to the station. (2:57pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at K1 Speed. (7:03pm)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (7:10pm)
  • Police came across approximately 20 vehicles in the student parking lot on Middlesex Avenue. Police advised them to pick up their trash and head home for the evening. (11:03pm)
