RMLD’s Solar Rebate Extended Through End of 2020

Below is an announcement from Reading Municipal Light Department:

READING, MA — The MLP Solar Rebate Program, launched in May of 2019, offers a limited-time rebate to customers who install a qualifying solar system that is 25 kW DC or less. The program, which was originally slated to end in June, has been extended through the end of 2020 or until funding runs out, whichever comes first.

As of now, about two-thirds of the available $500,000 in funding for solar projects in RMLD’s service area has been spent or allocated. Funding is 50% from the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (MA DOER) and 50% from RMLD’s existing Energy Conservation budget.

If you’re thinking about installing solar, don’t miss out on this rebate opportunity!
