POLICE LOG for July 6: Fence Damaged; Termite Infested Tree; Unemployment Scam

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, July 6, 2020:
  • A caller reported train crossing gates are down for an extended period of time with no train in sight on Woburn Street. MBTA notified. Keolis responded to repair gates. (12:29am)
  • A Hawtree Way resident reported a possible unemployment scam. (9:50am)
  • A Salem Street caller reported that sometime during the night, a vehicle ran through his fence and damaged it. (10:51am)
  • A Salem Street caller reported his neighbor’s tree on Frederick Drive is termite infested and may fall down onto his property. Wanted it logged. (12:43pm)
  • A caller reported 2 unattended suitcases in the Target parking lot. Police was unable to locate owner. (5:16pm)
