VIDEO: Wilmington Market Basket Store Manager Ken Caira Retires After 50 Years With Company

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Market Basket Store Manager Ken Caira retired last week after 50 years with the popular grocery chain.

Caira, a Market Basket employee since 1970, became Wilmington’s Store Manager in 2018 after previously serving in the same role at the Nashua location.

Caira, the brother of former Town Manager Michael Caira and current Selectman Kevin Caira, grew up in Wilmington, ending his career at the same store where he began it.

Caira’s colleagues and family cheered him on with applause, streamers and balloons as he completed his final shift on Friday, July 3, 2020.
