WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 3 things to know in Wilmington on Wednesday, July 8, 2020:
#1) Town Yardwaste Center Is Open
The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, will be open from 8am to 2pm. Wilmington residents only may use the center to drop off leaves and brush. In order to use the facility, residents must purchase a $15 punch card at the Treasurer/Collector’s Office at Town Hall. The card has no expiration date and is good for 5 visits to the facility. Residents will be asked to show the punch card an an ID at the entrance to the facility. No grass clippings may be disposed at the recycling center due to the odors they create. Stumps will not be accepted. No contractors or commercial vehicles are allowed. #2) Time For Twos At Wilmington Memorial Library
This storytime for two year olds at 10am includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees at least one hour before the event. Register HERE.
#3) Watch Wilmington Board Of Appeals Meeting
The Wilmington Board of Appeals meets at 7pm via Zoom. The agenda will be posted HERE. The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and wctv.org.
