WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 3 things to know in Wilmington on Thursday, July 2, 2020:
#1) Library On The Lawn
Would you like to browse and checkout books and DVDs? Be sure to stop by the front of the library from 5pm to 7pm to peruse several carts of both adult and children’s materials. Masks are required and we ask all to respect social distancing. This event will not take place during inclement weather.
#2) Virtual Baby Time At Wilmington Memorial Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding Baby Time at 10am on Zoom. This program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers. Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees at least one hour before the event. Register HERE.
#3) Virtual Crafternoons: Watermelon Squishies at Wilmington Memorial Library
Register to reserve your take-home kit to pick up via curbside the week of the session, and join Brittany for a Zoom tutorial at 3:30pm! (Call or text the number on the sign outside of the library’s parking lot entrance when you arrive to pick up your Crafternoon kit. Curbside service is available to pick up your kit beginning the Saturday before the Crafternoon will take place until the Thursday afternoon of the Zoom tutorial. Curbside is available: Monday-Thursday, 10 am-7 pm and Friday & Saturday, 10 am-4 pm). Create cute foam squishies shaped like watermelon slices with acrylic paint and memory foam. Paint, paintbrush, and foam provided, scissors needed. Grades 4-8. Register HERE.
