WILMINGTON, MA — Looking for your next summer read? Check out new releases and hot titles outside at the Wilmington Memorial Library’s twice-weekly pop up Library on the Lawn!
Weather permitting, library staff will be rolling out a selection of our latest Adult, Teen, and Children’s releases to browse on the library’s front lawn. The library will “pop up” on Tuesday mornings from 10 am to 12 pm and Thursday evenings from 5 to 7 pm.
Please help us practice safe social social distancing. Carts will be spaced at least six feet apart and masks are required for all patrons over two years of age.

Curbside Pickup continues
The WML will continue to offer its curbside pickup service for items currently in the WML’s collection. If you know the specific items you want from our collection, please place a hold in our catalog at wilmlibrary.org. If you would like staff to select titles for you from our shelves, please visit our website to fill out the WML to Go form with your preferences.
When you arrive at the library, call the main number at 978-658-2967 and staff will bring your items to your car and place them in the trunk. Happy reading!

Campfire Songs and Activities with Music Play Patrol

Join us for a virtual campfire sing along, complete with dancing, singing, and movement activities! Using Zoom, we will lead various activities that engage families and creates the same interactive experience campers would receive sitting around a campfire with family and friends. All ages
Mug Meals with Julie: Dessert
Tuesday, July 7 at 7 pm
Make an individual serving-sized cheesecake along with Chef Julie. For this scratch cooking lesson, you’ll need a mug, a microwave, and a few commonly-used ingredients. Check wilmlibrary.org for the full list of ingredients. Grades 4+
Musical Storytelling with Music Play Patrol

Our musical storytelling program will feature stories about fairytales, dragons, and superheroes. Using different instruments and sound processors, students will learn how musical elements like rhythm, dynamics, and tempo can be used with instruments to represent characters in stories. Ages 4+
Read Aloud Book Club

Do you miss reading and listening to stories with your friends at the library? Then this read-aloud book club is for you! Sit back and relax as Barbara reads you lots of different books about lots of different kids on Zoom. Join us for all 4 weeks, or just come when you can. Grades 1-5
